MSJ wrestlers finished 5th place in a field of 115 high schools from 10 states and the District of Columbia. Wyoming Seminary (PA), Blair Academy (NJ), Bishop Lynch (TX), and the Kiski School (PA) placed as the top 4 schools. DeMatha finished 9th as the next MD school. MSJ Placers included:

MSJ dominates the final two rounds to win the 2010 MIS State Tournament with 51 team points ahead of second place Georgetown Prep. All MSJ wrestlers added to the team victory with wins during the two-day tournament. The Gaels celebrate 10 state placers including Brady Massaro & Karl Green as 2010 Maryland State Champions. results.

Gaels Place 3rd at USMC Ultimate Challenge: Brady Massaro & Karl Green Earn Tournament Champions
MSJ places 3rd in a very impressive field of top Virginia teams including 5 of the top 11 ranked teams in Virginia. MSJ received wins from ALL team members adding to the team score. Special congratulations to Brady Massaro and Karl Green as USMC Ultimate Challenge Tournament Champions. Dorian Spradlin and Bobby Bowman placed 2nd; Benny Schauffel, Tyler Rill, Austin Bohn, & Tyler Tippet placed 3rd; Jimmy Klose, Kevin Johnson, and Ryan Sherman placed 5th; and Jimmy Sarbanes placed 6th.
Frank W. Cox High School from Virginia Beach was the team champion, and Colonial Forge from Stafford edged MSJ by 9 team points for 2nd place. (Results) (MIAA Article)
